Postdoctoral openings

We are always on the lookout for motivated post-doctoral candidates with a recent Ph.D degrees (within 2 -3 years) and expertise in electronic structure calculations.  In case you are interested, email your CV (including a list of publications) along with a cover letter to Rohan well in advance (6 months – 1 year) of the anticipated starting date so that we can arrange for funding.

Graduate students

  • 05/18/2023: We are looking for 2-3 motivated PhD students to join us in Fall 2023 to work either in the area of functional semiconductors or high-entropy alloys. For more information you can contact Rohan.

We are looking for motivated students who are fascinated by atoms and electrons! Previous experience in either computational modeling or microscopy is not a requirement – but a strong background in either Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or Math is. Once you have been admitted to WashU and are interested to join us, send an email to Rohan with a cover letter and your CV.

Undergraduate students

WashU undergraduates with active interest in learning computational materials research are encouraged to email Rohan and set up a meeting to discuss potential projects. Summer salary is available for exceptional students.
